Companies are not only important elements of society, they must also assume a responsibilty for societal development. Under the label of “Sylter Runde” InterScience hosts discussions on topics of major interest, be they of economic, political, scientific or cultural nature. More than a mere platform, the “Sylter Runde” tries to act as an incubator for new ideas and as a think tank. Important personalities and capacities in their respective fields are personally invited by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Norbert Szyperski to participate in the “Sylter Runde” discussions with the aim of developing new and unorthodox solutions in a totally informal environment. The results of these events are made available to the interested public as published memoranda on a regular basis.
